THE LOCAL JUNIORS ARE ALREADY TRAINING AT THE STOWE TENNIS CLUB FOR THE USTA CHAMPLAIN VALLEY VERMONT CHAMPIONSHIPS. WE HAVE SEVERAL TEAMS FROM THE STOWE TENNIS CLUB PLAY AGAINST OTHER JUNIOR TEAMS FROM VERMONT. AT THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS, HELD EARLY AUGUST, THEY WILL BE VYING FOR A SPOT IN THE REGIONAL AND ULTIMATELY THE NATIONAL USTA CHAMPIONSHIPS.	THE ADI YOERG 13th INVITATIONAL ANNUAL TOURNAMENT will be held at the Stowe Tennis Club from July 20-26. The tournament is held every year in memory of Adi Yoerg, who was a local tennis pro and avid tennis player and promoter. Invitations are extended to local and international professional tennis players. A wonderful opportunity for Stowe tennis players to watch some great tennis. Last years winners were Joanna Graves and Shaun Zeminac.

THE STOWE TENNIS CLUB ADULT CHAMPIONSHIPS WILL BE HELD FROM LATE AUGUST TILL THE END OF SEPTEMBER.	The Stowe Troopers, one of the 3.5 teams already played well this spring and won themselves a spot in the District Championships, whihc will be held in August. getting ready Coach Shawn Zemanekis getting them ready for competition against teams from other New England States. Cindy Maynard (3rd from the right) is the Captain of the team. We wish them success in 2009.
